Meet the Teachers!Hello and Welcome to Resource Lab! I am a graduate from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelors Degree in K-12 Special Education. I worked to earn my certifications in English Grades 5-12 and my Reading/ESOL Endorsement. I am entering my fourth year of teaching inside of the Special Education Department and truly love being a teacher! Throughout my years of teaching I have had the wonderful opportunity to teach heterogenous groups of students, which range from Specific Learning Disabilities, Other Health Impaired, ESOL Students and Emotional Behaviors. My lesson plans are well crafted and target the needs of different multiple intelligences and types of learners by incorporating a plethora of hands on activities. I believe my greatest strengths, as an educator is my ability to motivate my students and guide them down the path to success. I am able to transfer my passion and enthusiasm of learning to students through my positive attitude and learning activities. I work hard to actively engage students in the curriculum by making connections to real life experiences and their interests. I deeply believe all students should be held accountable and responsible for their education. My goal is to be the change catalyst with inside of your child's education and make sure they are their biggest advocate. This year I want to make sure each student is traveling the road to success prepared and feels like they have ample amounts of resources and support. I am more than happy to speak with you anytime and can be reached through email or phone. Looking forward to having a great year with your student!
